The Academic Council Special Committee on Lab Issues (ACSCOLI) was established by the Academic Council in April, 2007, as a successor to the Academic Council Special Committee on National Labs (ACSCONL). In May, 2017, the Academic Council extended the term of ACSCOLI until May 2028.
ACSCOLI's primary charge is to provide regular and broadly-based Senate oversight of UC's relationship with the National Labs (Los Alamos National Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory). For the complete list of duties, membership composition, and background, please refer to the ACSCOLI Charter.
