University Committee on Academic Computing and Communications (UCACC)

The University Committee on Academic Computing and Communications (UCACC) represents the Academic Senate in all matters involving the use, management, and support of information technology for instruction, research, and other areas of concern to faculty. In this systemwide role, the committee advises the University president on the acquisition and deployment of technology, as well as on related policy issues across the University. Service on UCACC offers faculty the opportunity to engage with the UC administration, representatives of relevant standing committees, and the chair of the Academic Council to identify and address technology-related issues that affect the University’s academic mission.
