The Academic Senate AI Workgroup will assess how artificial intelligence (AI) tools have been adopted across the University of California’s 10 campuses, identify areas of concern, assess and formulate best practices, and make recommendations regarding the use of AI in those areas under the purview of the Academic Senate (e.g., admissions, curricula, and degree requirements) and broadly relevant to faculty missions (instruction, research, and service) and welfare.
