The Health Care Task Force (HCTF) reports to the University Committee on Faculty Welfare (UCFW) on issues related to the University’s employee health plans, including delivery of care through the UC Health Systems and the UC Health Division at the Office of the President. In this systemwide role, the task force engages with Systemwide Human Resources and UC Health leadership to inform the design, coverage, and delivery of care plans for the UC community. The task force’s work helps ensure that UC health benefits support the well-being of faculty, staff, and their families and meet their health and welfare needs. Service on HCTF offers faculty the opportunity to influence health plan proposals, including premiums, co-pays, and scope of coverage, and contribute to the UC community’s health and sustainability.
